Iscte leads global rankings in Psychological research impact in Portugal

Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa has been ranked among the 301-400 best institutions worldwide in the ShanghaiRankings's 2025 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) for Psychology. It maintains its position among the 201-250 best institutions worldwide in the field of Psychology, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking.

Within the GRAS for Psychology, Iscte stands out as the leading Portuguese institution in Research Impact and International collaboration, highlighting the significance of the psychological research conducted at the Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte), and our efforts to establishing international networks. We are also well positioned in High-Quality Research.

In the 2025 THE ranking in Psychology in Portugal, Iscte leads in both Research Quality and International Outlook, and is well positioned in Research Environment.
