CIS-Iscte takes part in Iscte's Employability Forum and Open Day 2025

Over the last few weeks, the Center for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte) has taken part in two initiatives promoted by Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa: the Employability Forum, on April 9; and the Iscte Open Day, which took place on April 22.

Participating in another edition of the Employability Forum, organized by Iscte's School of Social Sciences and School of Sociology and Public Policy, were Jaime Moura, a student on the Master's Degree in Social and Organizational Psychology and currently an intern at CIS-Iscte, and Inês Chim, a PhD student in Psychology. LAPSO - Psychology Laboratory was also present at the event. Thus, undergraduate and master's students were able to explore different career opportunities, including curricular internships in psychology research. Jaime and Inês shared their research experience, presenting our research center.

On April 22, Iscte's Open Day was organized by the different schools of the Lisbon campus and their research units. The Time-To-Engage project's research team, Cristofthe Fernandes and Elzbieta Bobrowicz-Campos, hosted a demonstration entitled “Error 404: Invisible barriers in digital health”, in which students Mariana Bessa Nunes, Carolina Cardoso Soares and Inês Oliveira also took part. In this activity, prospective students were challenged to take on the role of a psychology researcher and discover how digital health technologies can exclude some people. The aim was to reflect on how the design and conditions of use of these technologies can impact the people who most need access to healthcare, exploring innovative ideas to overcome these barriers.
