The National Network for Social and Emotional Learning (ReNASe) will host the first session of the Networking with Science Talk Series!, dedicated to the topic: “Between time and school: how do social and emotional skills develop?”, on October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
This session will feature our PhD candidate Catarina Castro (CIS-Iscte) in a conversation about the development of social and emotional skills and the role of schools and learning environments.
The network emerged within the scope of the r.a.í.z.e.S. project — Sintra’s Social-Emotional Skills Development Program, coordinated by CIS-Iscte researcher Joana Alexandre (CIS-Iscte), and developed in partnership with the Municipality of Sintra as part of the (Inter)municipal Programs for Promoting School Success (PIPSE).
