Opening Notice: Scholarships to Cover Annual Tuition Fees for Doctoral Students in Psychology 2026/2027

Iscte's School of Social Sciences (ECSH) is accepting expressions of interest, until September 23, 2026, for the award of three (3) scholarships to cover annual tuition fees for students enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Psychology at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, intended to support the completion of a Ph.D. in Psychology.

These scholarships may only be awarded to students who meet all the following conditions:

• Students who have not been awarded a Merit Scholarship or an FCT Scholarship;

• Students who have completed the master’s program at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, having defended their thesis in a public examination with a minimum grade of 16, in the 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 academic year;

• Students enrolled in the full-time Doctoral Program in Psychology at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa;

• Students who have submitted the documentation referred to in Article 29 of the aforementioned Regulations (and specified in point 3 below);

• Students who obtain a grade of 15 or higher in the final assessment for the purpose of awarding a scholarship;

• Students who are among the top 25% of students with the highest final grades in their application to the doctoral program;

Students with no tuition fees owed to Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.

The call for the scholarships to cover annual tuition fees to students of the 3rd Cycle in the PhD Program in Psychology begins on April 1, 2026, and ends on September 23, 2026, through the designated form, available on the Recruitment page at https://recrutamento.iscte-iul.pt/jobs/717.
