Last October 24, University Institute of Lisbon (Iscte-IUL) received a visit by colleagues from the International Psychoanalytic University (IPU) Berlin, Prof. Thomas Kühn (Chair for Work and Organisational Psychology), Carmen Scher (Head of International Office), and Yuliya Salauyova (Erasmus Institutional Coordinator/EMDM TranSoPsy Project Manager).
The meeting was aimed to working on the the application that is being prepared for the project TranSoPsy.
TranSoPsy is an Erasmus Mundus Design Measure (EMDM) project, approved by the European Commission, whose funding was awarded to the coordinator IPU Berlin for designing an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in the area of psychology. Iscte-IUL is a participating entity of the consortium.

According to the projects' proposal summary, the digital transformation and increasing global networking in pair with the current environmental challenges urge changes in society in general and working world in particular. Overcoming these challenges will require transformation processes for sustainable leadership. Hence, the aim of this Joint Master is to qualify future professionals with a distinct transculturally oriented socio-psychological perspective that can systematically integrate the diverse levels of (inter-)national, organizational, and disciplinary cultures involved in responding to the complexity and the psychosocial impacts of the transformation processes of the organizations and their involved actors.

The coordination of this work meeting was led by Center for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte) researcher and vice-director Susana Batel and organized with CIS-Iscte's science manager Joana Sousa. In the welcome session also intervened the Iscte-IUL's Vice-Rector for Internationalization Maria das Dores Guerreiro, the Director of CIS-Iscte, Carla Moleiro, and the Director of the School of Social Sciences Diniz Lopes.
