Iscte receives the first TEIP meeting of 2024/25

On March 12, 2025 Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa received the XXXII Encontro TEIP - "Do Plano de Ação à sua Implementação e Avaliação".
Since 2013, CIS-Iscte has been carrying out a consultancy and scientific research support project with the TEIP School Groups (within the scope of the TEIP Program - Educational Territories of Priority Intervention, promoted by the Directorate-General for Education, currently in its 4th edition).
This project aims to provide direct monitoring by a team of experts to each of the groupings that make up the network and to promote meetings that encourage the creation of synergies between the elements of each school directly involved in the TEIP4 program.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the team of experts (Carla Colaço, Kalpna Kirtikumar, Patrícia Sarmento, Ricardo Rodrigues and Rui Lopes) will accompany 13 school groups in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley area, facilitating moments of reflection and access to models, tools and resources that enhance the implementation of the TEIP4 action plan.
On March 12, 2025, the first meeting of the current school year was held, marking the XXXII Meeting, dedicated to the theme: Implementation and Evaluation of the Action Plan. The meeting was attended by the deputy director general of the Directorate General for Education, Maria João Horta, and the TEIP team coordinator, Cristina Palma.
The team of experts prepared a formative and interactive event where the principals, teachers and specialized technicians from the school groupings collaboratively explored the Theory of Change planning tool and challenged their knowledge in the field of building monitoring indicators.
This meeting was positively evaluated by its participants and they valued the opportunity for peer reflection on the actions underway in each of the groupings and the sharing of strategies to face the challenges inherent in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of their action plans.
