CIS-Iscte publishes the Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment Policy (OTM-R Policy) of Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon. The document is available in the file provided below.
This policy reflects Iscte’s commitment to European best practices in the recruitment of researchers and follows the award of the Human Resources Excellence in Research Award, granted by the European Commission on 17 March 2025.
The OTM-R Policy implements the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, promoting recruitment procedures based on equal opportunities, transparency and merit, from the publication of vacancies to the final selection.
The document is aligned with Regulation No. 872/2024 of 8 August, which establishes the rules for the recruitment and employment of researchers under individual employment contracts at Iscte, ensuring compliance with national legislation and European standards.
