Promoted by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (Foundation for Science and Technology) in collaboration with Ciência Viva - Agência Nacional para a Cultura Científica e Tecnológica (Ciência Viva - National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture) and the Parliamentary Commission for Education and Science, with the institutional support of the Government through the Minister for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, Ciência 2019 is yet another edition of the annual meeting of Portuguese researchers.
Encontro Ciência 2019 aims to promote a wide-ranging debate on the main issues and challenges on the scientific agenda beyond the research world. For this reason, the main objective of this meeting is to stimulate not only participation but also interaction between researchers, the business sector and the general public.
