CIS-Iscte researcher honored with “APP Psychology Research Career” Award

Luísa Lima, researcher at the Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte) and professor at the School of Social Sciences at Iscte, will be honored this Friday, May 30, at the XII National Symposium on Research in Psychology (SNIP), which is taking place at the University of Porto.

This award, attributed by the Portuguese Psychological Association (APP), is intended to honor a Portuguese researcher whose research career in psychology has made a decisive impact on research in their field. The proposal to award the APP prize to Professor Maria Luísa Lima resulted from a collective movement of a wide range of colleagues, former and current students, and members of the national and international scientific community, in recognition of the outstanding contributions of her research career to Social Psychology.

The responsibilities that Luísa Lima has assumed in academia, as a teacher, mentor and researcher, and on different research advisory boards and civil society organizations, make her contributions to the growth and enhancement of Portuguese psychology, and the relations of Portuguese psychology institutions with their international counterparts, unavoidable.

CIS-Iscte congratulates Professor Luísa Lima on her admirable research career, her professional achievements and the APP's recognition of her with this award.
