Skills Development Scholarships 2023/2024

The School of Social Sciences (ECSH) and the Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte) will open a call for applications for one (1) Scholarship for Skills Development for students enrolled in the 2nd year (or eventually the 3rd year) of the Iscte Doctoral Program in Psychology.


The purpose of the Scholarships for Skills Development is to carry out activities to support teaching, research, and dissemination of knowledge, resulting in the acquisition, by the scholarship holder, of knowledge or good practices in the performance of these activities, in a collaboration between CIS-Iscte and the Department of Psychology.


The scholarship is awarded in the form of a monthly subsidy, paid by bank transfer, under the conditions described in the scholarship contract to be signed between Iscte and the scholarship holder. The Scholarship is for the academic year in which it is awarded and cannot exceed a duration of ten months, which cannot be extended.


The submission of applications will take place in November*. Information on the application submission platform and the evaluation criteria will be published before the call opens.


This call will comply with the provisions of the notice to be published and with Regulation no. 743/2022 on the Award of Scholarships for the Development of Pedagogical and Scientific Skills to Students of the 3rd Cycle of Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
