The Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS) of Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon opens a call for the award of 1 (one) research grant, Master's degree (Ref. BI_EMR-BIAL_Set25) within the scope of the project "Evaluating Musical Rhythm
Predisposition and Training in Shaping Children's Reading and Writing Skills",
funded by Bial Foundation (Ref. BIAL 139/2024).

The research grant (BI) is intended for the execution of R&D activities by a holder of a master's degree in Psychology, enrolled in a course that does not confer an academic degree integrated in the educational project of a Higher Education Institution, on the date of the start of the scholarship. The candidate should have documented knowledge on Cognitive Psychology, particularly on language, reading/writing, and/or music cognition; and have experience in behavioral and/or neuroimaging data collection in topics of language, reading/writing, and/or music cognition.
The BI, scheduled to begin in October 2025, will last until the maximum limit of the approved funding or until the maximum duration of this type of grant, whichever occurs first, considering the limits defined in paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 6 of Regulation No. 950/2019, of December 16 (Regulation on Research Grants of FCT, I.P.).
