On October 24, the Doctoral Program in Psychology had its inaugural session, in which the new PhD students were welcomed into Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon, and into the Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte).

The welcoming ceremony had the contribution of Jorge Costa, Vice-Rector for Research and Technological Modernization; Diniz Lopes as the Director of the School of Social Sciences; Cecília Aguiar, Director of the Department of Psychology; Susana Batel, Subdirector of CIS-Iscte; Marília Prada, Director of LAPSO, and Paula Castro, Director of the Doctoral Program in Psychology.
In contrast to previous years, our newly arrived students will have about a year to develop their research project, and some have not yet chosen a topic. Hence, after the welcoming session, the coordination team from each of our research groups gave an overview of their group, from the team members to its research topics and thematic lines.
