CIS-Iscte congratulates Iscte’s new rectorial team

On March 19, 2026, Professor Helena Carreiras was installed as Rector of Iscte, along with the members of her team, for the 2026–2030 term.


The new team includes:

Jorge Costa – Vice Rector for Research and Organizational Development

Sofia Vale – Vice-Rector for Finance and Assets

Helena Carvalho – Vice-Rector for Curriculum Development, Quality, and Sustainability

Luís Ducla Soares – Vice-Rector for Infrastructure and Technological Modernization

Ricardo Paes Mamede – Vice-Rector for Internationalization and University Expansion

Teresa Grilo – Vice-Rector for Teaching and Academic Management

Sibila Marques – Pro-Rector for Inclusion, Well-being, and Quality of Life, and

Nuno Nunes – Pro-Rector for Community Engagement
