On December 4, 2025, the third edition of the Community, Education, and Development: Intervention and Research event took place at Clube Iscte, bringing together students and researchers to share work developed in various study cycles, promoting dialogue on topics related to community, education, and development.

After the opening session by the research group coordinators, Joana Alexandre and Cláudia Camilo, CED doctoral students presented papers on topics such as myths related to sexual violence, developmental trajectories of children with ADHD, and the impact of school climate on social and emotional skills.
In a poster session, the diversity of topics was highlighted: from maternal psychopathology and parental neglect, through perceptions of child abuse in immigrant mothers, the development of instruments for observing child behavior, gender differences in tolerance of sexual harassment, to the relationship between comedy consumption and mental health.
The event, which was attended by various doctoral students, including other research groups from CIS and other universities, ended with a social gathering, promoting the exchange of ideas and contact between participants. Researcher Joana Alexandre emphasizes that these meetings are “very important for sparking the interest of young researchers and reinforcing the commitment to evidence-based intervention practices.”
