CIS researcher participates in BCSD Portugal initiative

Susana Batel, a researcher at the Center for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte), was invited by the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD) Portugal to answer a Proust questionnaire.

BCSD Portugal is a non-profit association that brings together and represents more than 200 leading companies in Portugal that are actively committed to the transition to sustainability. It periodically conducts a Proust questionnaire with people outside the business world in the area of sustainability, with the aim of sharing their perspective on this topic.

In her research, Susana Batel adopts a critical and interdisciplinary perspective to examine the relationship between people, the climate crisis, and territories, specifically around energy transitions to carbon neutrality and associated issues of political participation and social justice.
