RESOURCES

This page is dedicated to different resources developed in our research projects that are available to public use.

Tr@ck_In

Public employment services tracking effectiveness in supporting rural NEETs

The aim of Track-IN was to broaden knowledge of the effects of employment initiatives targeting rural NEETs, by creating a cross-country model of how policies influence Public Employment Services (PES) tracking deliverance. On its website, the project provides different resources about its results and their implications for public policies.

TURN_ON HELP

Intergroup factors and bystanders’ helping behaviors on bias-based cyberbullying incidents

TURN_ON HELP aimed to understand cyberbullying towards different minority groups, namely LGBTI+ and Black youth, and examining what can influence bystanders’ behaviors when they witness bias-based cyberbullying episodes. The results of an online survey and their implications are shared on the project’s final report.

Prevent2Protect

Motivational determinants of consistant condom use

Prevent2Protect aimed to understand how different attitudes regarding sex were linked to people’s sexual health knowledge and practices, such as condom use. The team of the project wrote a final report on the study’s results and their implications, which is available on “la Caixa” Foundation website.

JUSTENERGY

Intersections of right-wing populism and (un)just rural energy transitions in Portugal as communicative and socio-spatial practices

This exploratory project aimed to analyze the relationship between the way in which the energy transition to renewable energies is being carried out in rural territories in Portugal and its impact on the support of affected communities to far-right populist rhetoric. A policy brief with implications and recommendations for the Media and Policy makers is available on our website, as well as recording of the project’s final debate.

SMART-BEEJS

Human-Centric Energy Districts: Smart Value Generation by Building Efficiency and Energy Justice for Sustainable Living

Smart-BEEjS aimed to train PhD researchers to design transformational pathways that tackle Energy Poverty and Justice, providing evidence and using the decentralized nature of ‘Positive Energy Districts’ and ‘Networks of Districts’ as the central platform of transformation whilst recognizing the economic, social, and environmental challenges faced. The deliverables developed in the project are evidence-based materials that can be useful to map factors influencing Energy Justice.

SUSTAINMEALS

Unlocking the potential of the public plate towards a large- scale transition to plant-based meals in schools

The SUSTAINMEALS team has developed an online toolkit, currently available only in Portuguese, for catering venue stakeholders aiming to transition to healthier and more sustainable eating. This toolkit covers various factors involved in this transition, including context, and suggests intervention activities targeting behaviors, social contexts, and education. It includes a diagnostic tool and action plans for institutions to implement these strategies effectively. On our website, you can also find a Policy Brief on the project.
