Short bio

Ana Maria Abreu is an Assistant Professor at Iscte and a researcher at CIS-Iscte. Her research explores the interplay between cognition, brain, and behavior, with a focus on the impact of exercise on cognition, perceptual and communication profiles in autism, and the cognitive and mental health effects of digital technologies. Her applied research includes investigations on developmental disorders, expert decision-making in sports, and interventions leveraging perceptual and cognitive insights to support learning and well-being.
