On World Mental Health Day, we launch the podcast Psicologia EntreCampus: Conversations on Mental Health and Well-being.

University is one of the most intense phases of our lives — a time of discovery and achievement, but also of challenges and uncertainty. In this podcast, Carla Moleiro talks to guests about mental health in higher education and students’ everyday lives, drawing on their own experiences. Together, they explore topics such as mental health stigma, emotional regulation, healthy lifestyles, academic stress, loneliness and digital relationships, inequality and exclusion, and the challenges of studying away from home.

Free from stigma and taboos, and combining empathy with the best available scientific evidence, these conversations highlight the importance of mental health and the benefits of talking openly about it on campus.

In the first episode, we discuss “It’s All in Your Head! Mental Health at University, with Mafalda Gomes.”

This podcast is the result of the BeWell project, co-coordinated by two Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon research units, CIS-Iscte and CIES-Iscte, with the support of Bruá.

The first episode is released on 10 October, World Mental Health Day, with the remaining five episodes to be released fortnightly.
