Eunice Magalhães, researcher at the Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte), won the call to support research projects on childhood and vulnerability promoted by the Social Observatory of the "la Caixa" Foundation, with the project Families4Children - Protecting the children's right to live in a family: insights to recruit foster families in Portugal.
The aim of this project is to identify the profile of Portuguese families most likely to become foster families, namely in terms of their motivations and intentions. The results of this research could serve as a basis for recruitment campaigns for foster care.
