Short bio

Marta Matos is a Researcher at Iscte with funding from FCT’s Stimulus for Scientific Employment. Interested in translating evidence-based knowledge into caregiving practices, she explores the dynamics of receiving social support for functional autonomy among older adults with chronic pain; and understanding the experiences of both caregivers, aiming to uncover psychosocial factors that influence caregiver and older adults' quality of life. She is President of CIS-Iscte’s Ethical Committee.
