João Graça

The Doctoral Program in Psychology at Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon helped me grow and learn on three fronts. On the conceptual front, with theoretical models in psychology that are important to my research and intervention interests (social and environmental sustainability). On the methodological front, with various opportunities to collaborate on parallel projects, operationalize concepts, collect, analyse and interpret data, and expand knowledge and skills on validity, fidelity, and ethics in research. And on the relational front, with the guidance team with whom I had the privilege of working, and the colleagues and friends with whom I was fortunate enough to share my doctoral career (2011-2016). It was a challenging, rewarding and empowering experience.
