Short bio

Sven Waldzus is a Professor at Iscte. His research covers topics such as social identity, cognition, and emotions, including the role of perceived relative prototypicality of groups; evaluative judgments serving as criteria for social exclusion and extremely negative treatment of behaviors that deviate from group norms; and the role of cognitive models of social relations and their embodiment in intergroup behavior. He is now President of Iscte’s Ethical Council.
