Ana Lúcia Aguiar has a Master degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from ISCTE-IUL. She is currently a PhD student working on a project investigating if and how group composition, in the preschool context influences the quality of teacher-child interactions.

Ana Margarida Fialho has a master in Educational Psychology (ISPA). Her main research interests focus on early childhood education and care (ECEC) quality and children’s social and emotional development (in particular, social skills, social acceptance, and emotion regulation).

Carla Colaço is a Phd student in Psychology and a Master in Psychology of Emotions (ISC TE-IUL). Her PhD project aims to explore the role of play practices and playfulness in caregivers and their children in Pilot Projet Playgroups for Inclusion/Grupos Aprender Brincar e Crescer.

Carla Silva's research interests focus on family factors, especially socioemotional processes, associated with children and adolescents' adjustment outcomes. She is particularly interested in the influence of the qualities of parent-child and interparental relationships on children's and adolescents' self-representations, and its implications on their psychosocial and academic functioning.

With a background in educational psychology, Cecília Aguiar is interested in studying quality processes in early childhood education and their effects on children’s developmental outcomes (i.e., peer social interactions, networks, and relationships). Other research foci include early childhood intervention.

The main research interests are focused on cognitive processes associated with abusive parenting. Experience in community intervention projects with children, youth and families at risk.
